My friend here in Lompoc is throwing me, and another friend who is due 3 weeks before me, a baby shower. I just had to share the invite because it's so cute! The girls on the card actually look like me and Shannon, hehe, adorable!
We went out to dinner this weekend and while we were out the marine layer came inland and it got really cold, really fast. Chels thought she was going to freeze to death so we put her in the only jacket in our car. She looked like such a raggamuffin!
And my belly today at 33 weeks. I'm starting to get the not-so-welcome comments like "you look like you're going to explode" or "there is no way you're going to make it another 7 weeks!!!!" and "you are SO full of baby" (all actual comments I've recieved). There's just not much room to store a baby on a 5' 3" frame people! But, to be fair, I don't blame them. I am HUGE and it's just so unbelievable that I still have 7 weeks and that there is only one baby in there. I am now officially the same size, belly circumference wise, as I was right before I had Chels. I have also now gained the same amount of weight as I did with Chels so I'm hoping not to gain much more. I wasn't going to take anymore belly shots but I figured there will definitely be pictures taken at my baby shower, so I might as well. Just ignore my hair, it all natural today!

haha I love the word Raggamuffin. Emma is a raggamuffin at least once a day. It might as well be her nickname.
People always have to say stuff. I'm sure in their minds its meant to be nice...well I hope cause I got lots of comments from strangers too. I love your belly and think its adorable. I can't wait to see your baby! Its coming soon!
I call Anni a raggamuffin all the time too. Hang in there, you're almost done.
Chels looks cute as a raggamuffin! That is always what I am calling Sophia since her hair is always crazy! You are looking really good! You have a belly but I can tell you are all skinny everywhere else! It is the weirdest thing but I swear the last two days my belly has shrunk! I still feel her move though or I would be freaking out! Good Luck and have fun at your shower!

GAH! why are people so lame and have to say such "nice" things to us preggers ladies?! i think you look great! and im serious. it is tougher when youre short. i want to kill all those tall preggers women (ok, kill might be a little too harsh...how about smack?!) that make it look so glamorous towards the end.
AND, i hear ya on being bigger the second time around. i have a little less then 3 months left and i look much MUCH further along and have often lied about my due date to people to avoid the rude comments that will come pouring our of their pie holes.
speaking of pie...mmmmmm
