Catching some good Zzz's!

I have been wanting a new bed for a long, looooong time! I've always kind of liked the coziness of the full bed that we have had but since I have been pregnant, and during my first pregnancy, I cannot stand to have someone that close to me while I try to sleep! I know I'm not far enough along to be showing or to have a huge belly yet but there's just something about needing your space in bed when you're already feeling crappy, I think most women would agree!

Ever since Jacob started asking me what I want for my birthday I've been telling him a new bed, thinking that this birthday wish would never be fulfilled. I was watching TV on Wednesday night and I saw a commercial for a furniture store that is going out of business in Santa Maria. So I told Jacob about it and I asked him if we could just go look. It must have been the combination of me being sick all the time, being pregnant, and it being my birthday on Sunday that finally added up to enough pity that he finally agreed to go look. Well the furniture store is definitely closing and they were trying to get rid of stuff fast! They were having such good sales that I was looking at new couches and tables sets even though we have recently purchased both of those things, haha. We ended up getting a screaming good deal on a top-of-the-line mattress (memory foam, YAY), and a bed frame for nearly nothing. We are thinking that we'll go back in after next payday and see if they're still open and if they have the rest of our set. Maybe it will be marked down even more since the complete set isn't together any more!

The only bad thing...my scrapbook stuff doesn't fit under the bed anymore, hmmm???
